The Sweet Tea Open – TBD – 2025 – Come on down to the birth place of sweet tea!

Des Ananas – TBD – 2026 – “This is the friendly tournament you go to all year” – anonymous fencer from last years event.

The Pirate Olympics – TBD – 2026 – Charleston oldest running tournament. First tournament dates back to the scaly wag times of the 1990’s.

Foothills Fall Fight – October 4th-5th, 2025 – Join us for the annual Foothills Fall Fight! All events this year will be held at FFA. Saturday’s events include Mixed Foil, Epee, & Saber. JLMFC Cadet Challenge – November 1st, 2025 – J.L. Mann HS Fencing Club Cadet Challenge is the first Sanctioned Tournament hosted by a High School fencing club in South Carolina! We welcome you to come make history with us! J.L. Mann High School 160 Fairforest Way, Greenville, SC 29607

South Carolina Junior Olympic Qualifiers – November 8th, 2025 – This is the official Junior Olympic Qualifiers for the SC Division and will be held in Columbia, SC at 7 Oaks Park in Columbia. Fencers who qualify will be eligible to compete at the Junior Olympics in Kansas City, Missouri January 9-12, 2026.

Regional and National Tournaments

Events run Regionally and Nationally with the intention to earn points that qualify you to compete in the Junior Olympics held in January and Summer Nationals held at the end of June and beginning of July.

The Southern Y8/RYC/RJCC/RPC/ROC (VET/D1A/DV2)/TEAM – October 11th – 13th, 2025 – The Cordele Athletic Club welcomes you to The Southern 2025. This tournament is open to all regions of USA Fencing. National Tournaments

2026 Junior Olympics – January 9th -12th, 2026. The 2026 Junior Olympics will be hosted in Kansas City, MO this year. This event will feature Epee, Foil, and Saber fencers who are eligible to compete in Junior, Cadet, and Junior Team categories. How to qualify? Also talk with your coach if you have questions on how to qualify and if you are eligible.

National Events – Dates Vary – Visit the USA Fencing website to view information on upcoming SJCCs, NACs, the July Challenge, and Summer Nationals.

Tournaments held everywhere on AskFred – This is where you search and sign up for local tournaments and other special events hosted by local clubs.

Tournaments on USAFencing.org – This is where you search and sign up for regional and national tournaments. Make sure you have at least a competitive membership or you can’t sign up. SC is in Region 6 and while you can fence in any region, you can only earn points when it is held in region 6. Ex. Bob went to visit family in New York and decided to fence in a regional tournament. He won gold in his event but since NY is in Region 3 and not Region 6, he will not earn any points. He only earns experience!

Club Patches can’t be purchased; they must be earned. A patch will be awarded to those fencers who represent and compete in at least one tournament outside of the Tri-County area.
